No account to create. No software to install. Here’s how to get from a question to a file you can keep.
01 / LOOK CLOSERHave an assignment? Type its title into search. You can also search a topic.
Here for yourself? Choose a question on the independent-learning page.

02 / STEP INSIDEChoose Just exploring or For class. Read the short brief, make choices and follow the evidence.
Every simulation is solo. The details page tells you the topic, preparation, time and what you will produce. You supply the decisions; the simulation supplies the case.
Just exploring keeps written notes optional. For class keeps the required response record. Switching preserves your work and records which route you used.
03 / KEEP THE RECORDUse the activity’s Report, Export or Print / PDF control. Check the file before sharing it.
For class: upload the readable report to Canvas or your course system.
On your own: keep it for yourself. There is nothing to submit here.
Downloading is not submitting. Your instructor only receives your work when you upload or send the report through the method they specified.
TWO SAVES. DIFFERENT JOBS.
The activity may use a slightly different button name.
The file’s job is what matters.
Choose Save progress or Download backup.

Progress backup = come back later.Choose Report, Export or Print / PDF.
This creates a readable record of your choices, explanations and revisions. For a PDF, choose Save as PDF in your device’s print menu.
Readable report = keep, read or submit. Before closing the tab: check the activity’s save message. Some activities save in the browser automatically; others ask you to save. A downloaded backup is safer if you are changing devices, using a shared computer or clearing browser data.
Choose Just exploring to follow the evidence and try the political choices at your own pace, with optional notes. Choose For class when your instructor assigned the activity: its response requirements apply. Both routes use the same political model. You can switch inside the activity; changing routes does not turn earlier exploration into an unseen first attempt.
Every simulation works independently. For class changes the response requirements, not the number of people you need.
Search the title in the library. You can use a key word such as “Power” or “Manytide.” Clear any topic or time filters if you get no results. If the title is still unfamiliar, check the exact link your instructor shared.
Open the activity library →Submit the readable report your instructor requested, such as a PDF, text or HTML report. A progress backup usually ends in .json and is for restoring the activity. Opening your file before submitting is the easiest way to check that it contains a readable record.
Yes. You do not have to print on paper. On a laptop, open the activity’s printable report and choose Print, then select Save as PDF as the destination. On some phones, PDF saving is in the Share or Print menu. Use the activity’s report controls, rather than printing this help page.
This website rearranges itself for your screen; you do not need a separate mobile version. Use the Menu button for navigation and Filters to narrow the library. Long written responses and side-by-side evidence are often easier on a tablet or laptop. Check the activity’s details before starting.
Yes. Save a progress backup before stopping or switching devices, then restore it in the same activity. Use its restart/new-run control for another attempt, and keep a backup of any work you want to preserve. A new run may replace the old local record.
Browser saves belong to a browser, device and website address. They do not move automatically. Export a progress backup from the original activity, then restore it in the matching activity here. Editions can differ; incompatible backups may need the original version.
No. This site has no student dropbox or class dashboard. Download a readable report and submit it through the method your instructor specifies. Check that your course system confirms the submission.
The included activities process responses on your device. Saved browser data can remain on that browser profile, so use the activity’s erase/reset controls on a shared computer. The site does not provide a student response database. A separate visitor counter records public page visits, not answers. The privacy page explains its data, retention and opt-out. Ordinary hosting providers may also keep technical request logs.
